In a career spanning over three decades drummer Jeff Williams’ musical associates have included Stan Getz, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano, Paul Bley, Bill McHenry, Ethan Iverson, Tony Malaby, and many more. During the 1990’s Jeff performed with his own quintet and released two CDs of original compositions: Coalescence (SteepleChase) and Jazzblues (Cathexis). For the last several years He has been dividing his time between New York and London, touring the UK with McHenry, Konitz, and most recently, Liebman, while also performing with British musicians Martin Speake, Phil Robson, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, and Nikki Iles. Jeff’s current New York quartet includes John O’Gallagher-alto saxophone, Duane Eubanks-trumpet, and John Hebert-bass.
